1998 Baja Islander open bow 21’ with fuel injected 310hp Mercruiser 454 Engine and only 330 hrs. The engine bay comes with built in Halon fire extinguisher system, while the engine itself has a dual battery setup with a selector switch to choose one, both, or neither power source. This is pretty handy if you’re planning to sit out & float a while listening to the radio! The exhaust system has the loud option (straight pipe sound), or a silenced option where the exhaust is directed out through the prop. This is all controlled with a convenient switch at the helm. The boat also has a Stainless Steel Bravo III Prop system with two contra rotating props. This setup allows the outdrive to negate the torque of the motor and maintain a straight line instead of the constant pull to the right; this is a commonplace problem with larger horsepower boats. The dual prop setup with the bigger engine allows the boat to achieve speeds of 60+ MPH. Whether you’re going to the ‘honey hole’ or for an afternoon cruise, you’re going to get there fast! We just upgraded the sound system with 2 amps, new speakers & a 12” sub. Other great features include: individually controlled trim tabs, hydraulic engine hatch, depth gauge, stainless pop-up cleats, bikini top and matching cover. We’ll even throw in several life jackets, ropes, set of skis, and a tube!
The trailer is a tandem axle with chrome rims, newer tires, spare, and surge brakes built into the tongue. It pulls great on the highway, and has always been stored indoors or under covered parking. It is a great performance boat to fish, ski, or tube with! We have pulled three skiers behind it on several occasions and have it out on the lake almost weekly!
